Summer is coming!! Here in Philly the weather is very unpredictable, with cold days still creeping up on us even as we start to close the month of May. However, the Summer months are quickly approaching, and this presents a unique condition for our hair. I will be there!! This weekend Sunday & Monday June 19-20, 2013 I will be traveling to Secaucus New Jersey to attend the International Hair & Beauty Show. While I specialize in Natural Hair, I do have lots of experience with relaxed hair as well. I am a former relaxed girl, and maintaining my hair in the relaxed state proved to be very difficult for me. My biggest issue was breakage and maintaining length. Deciding to go natural was a liberating experience for me and helped me grow out my hair, but I realized it may not be for everyone.

We all know the importance of making sure your hair is wrapped and protected at night.
